REHC Industry Shadowing - November 2026

📣Alumni Volunteer Opportunity!‼️ REHC (Rutgers Engineering Honors Council) is planning an Industry Shadowing Program this coming November to give students an opportunity to observe real-world engineering and industry practice. This event isn’t just another opportunity for students to take notes, but to dive into the realities of their chosen fields and learn from professionals. They’ll gain insights into the daily grind of industry professionals and the values that keep their companies thriving. 📋 Event Structure & Timeline: Shadowing visits will be a half-day experience. Times can vary based on company availability. A sample schedule would include: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Department tours, facility walkthroughs, software/project demos, and shadowing team members 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Casual lunch or coffee chat with host and team members ⚠️ Important Note: This form is an initial interest gauge to determine host availability. Submitting this form is not a commitment to a firm schedule. Once we gauge an overall professional and student interest, we will follow up directly with those who are interested to confirm dates, schedules, and logistical details. 📲 ALUMNI HOST INTEREST FORM: CLICK HERE ➡️ This form is for anyone who might be interested in hosting students for a day of shadowing. The hosts must be located in New Jersey so that the REHC can provide transportation. To clarify: this is not an official event at this time. We are currently assessing host availability to determine if this type of event is feasible. Once made official, we will reach out again for logistics such as any documentation or attire needed, schedules, and dates.

General Alumni Board Meeting November 2026

This is an at-large meeting open to all alumni and an opportunity to meet and greet the REA Board, learn about REA events, and to network with your fellow alumni. There will be the option to join virtually as well - Zoom Link (password: rutgers): Zoom Meeting November Link Date: Friday, November 13th, 2026 Location: 3rd Floor Conference Room, Richard Weeks Hall of Engineering – Busch Campus RSVP form here: RSVP Form Parking Details: Visitors may park in Lots TBD. Guests must use the below link to register for the event. They must enter an email address where they will receive a confirmation. Until this process is completed their vehicles are not registered and your guests may receive a citation. Special Event parking does not include metered parking or allow free parking to faculty, staff, or students. Rutgers affiliated Faculty, Staff and Students must have a Rutgers parking permit (Semester, Daily, or Event) and park accordingly. Faculty, Staff, and Students parking without a parking permit or outside their parking permit assignment will be subjected to ticketing and/or towing.
